still no pictures, but updates!

Colin started preschool 4 days a week on Tuesday (well technically only three this week, but I think that is beside the point). He seems to be adjusting fairly well. There are still tears when he heads to the classroom, (and no, they aren’t all mine ;)) but the teachers tell us once he gets to the room and in his chair he really is quite happy. They get to go outside or to the gym each day, which I know Colin absolutely LOVES! We are talking about ways to get him more independent outside. They can put him in a gait trainer so he can be independently mobile, but he truly has no idea that he has any limitations and therefore wants to do everything most of the others can do (i.e. go up and down the slide, play on the toys, etc). He is enjoying the sand pit I think; at least he brings a bunch of it home with him each day! So in summary, we are encouraged. He seems to like it! WOO HOO!!
And Cathy is back from vacation this week. That is great news too. She picked Colin up today and he was QUITE happy to see her!!
The conference is coming up and keeping me super busy and Doug is moving into end of quarter mode. Things in the Rector household are nearly out of control these days.
