A shout out to the girls!

It is official. A friend I have known since the sixth grade is oficially the first one in our group to turn 30 and today is the day. the good news is, she sems to have embraced it and that jsut adds to her (already high) level of fabulous-ness. In thirty years (and I can say this because mine is right around the corner) we have learned lots of things, I want to highlight a few that our group has endured together.
1. to laugh at ourselves and not just other people
2. love ourselves and not rely on someone to do it for us
3. stand up for ourselves and for each other and not let people run all over us
and most importantly
4. the importance of having people around that care about you as much as you care about them

Congratulations Abby...You are FABULOUS!
Denise.....our 29th year is slowly fading away, we are next!
Shannon.....soon my friend, soon.
Katie....I see it is starting to hit you, brace yourself for impact!
Lisa (the baby!).....give it a few more months, and then our reality will be your reality!
